See, I told you that you should have folded pre-flop. My read from here was dynamite.

I just wanna make sure I read that right. You folded top full because of one bet on the river? I mean, it was kind of a confusing post, but there were 6.5 BB in the pot, so even if you were wrong in this case, you only need to have the best hand 15.3% of the time for this to be a +EV move. I mean, christ, if I were in that hand and had jacks full, I'd ask to change the game to NL.

Show me a 30/60 game where someone doesn't raise K's or J's preflop, and where two bets on the flop means a set.

Preflop: Raise
Flop: 3 Bet
Turn (I don't follow who's first and who's second here but): Bet/Raise
River Bet/Raise

Trusting your reads is one thing WHEN there is a logical reason for them. On the flop you have the freaking nuts... if you put him on 3's why wait till the turn to raise? If he has a set of three's he's going to call or cap the flop to your raise. His check on the turn is a)moronic b) proves he doesn't have a three, if he has a three he bets out there knowing he's going to get action from the Jack, or the four, both of which are beaten by the hand you "put him on".

Master ABC's then worry about getting clever reads.

besides not 3betting preflop, i think you played it good. despite what these so called "experts" say, poker is a game of instinct and gut. you have to trust those lucky feelings.
