youll get paid by AK on the river like every time. super easy value bet. unless you thought he would try to value bet AK and were going for a sexy?

[/ QUOTE ]

I was pretty sure villain had overcards (or I would have heard from him) but not necessarily AK. While he almost certainly calls with Ace high he does not necessarily do so with just K, Q or J high, although he might bluff with those hands. That was my rationale although I felt dirty checking and immediately PM'd a 2+2er via IM that I had missed an easy value bet.

[/ QUOTE ]

If he wants to bluff you raise you, GOOD. You are ahead on this river like 95% of the time after that action.

Based on his PF 3-bet, he is much more likely to have a big Ace than lower overcards. Also you'd be suprised how many people would call you with K-high or worse in that spot.

I fold this pf and bet the river every time (at 3/6). Is the pf call that straightforward?

Thinking about his a bit more, I realized I'd probably cap TT every time. It doesn't seem like this is consistent at all. Help?

i don't think you can know if this is correct or not without a more specific read, but given colgin's vague read i think that the PF call was correct.

if you can't bet the river, you should fold preflop.

Compromise at 97.5? occasionally people wait till the river with aces or kings. Would you be sure enough to 3bet if he raises?

bet the river. He is calling you with AQ-AK a lot here and i think he has them a lot here. If you check, he should be check ing behind with these holdings as well
