Help!! HARD decision?!
Ok, my question is rather simple. A friend of mine is in a hand with top set and no possible low. The turn gives villian the nut low, a flush draw which hero does not have, and a wrap wheel draw. 25pl - pot around 4-7 dollars. Villian bets pot, hero pushes, villian calls and hits wrap draw for the scoop. My question is, if hero KNOWS villians hand EXACTLY, he would fold top set I am thinking, right?

Re: Help!! HARD decision?!
In this game, it's best to look at what is possible - for instance when hero saw that a low was possible, immediately he's only playing for half of the pot. Also a flush and straight draw were there, neither of which he had. He had one hope, that the board would pair. A set by itself is only a drawing hand in this game.
So there's no use in pushing - I would have folded, or simply checked and decided if I wanted to call just to see the river. |
