Default Unbridled aggression with 99

So since my shadow29-worthy sabbatical, I've made a small deposit into bet365 and I'm actually playing poker again for the first time in a while. This hand happened at a bet365 quarter table. Villain is loose, reasonably aggressive and I have seen him take shots occasionally before. He's not a LAG though and any unwarranted aggression has been fairly constrained.

Two very loose limpers limp very loosely, Villain limps OTB, and I value-raise 99 from the BB. All call. Four to the flop for 2 bets.

Flop is AK3rainbow. I lead out, both very loose limpers fold very unloosely, Villain calls.

Turn is the 6 of purple horsehoes. I bet-fold.

Thoughts on all streets?

Who is shadow29?

Flop: check/fold or bet/fold
Turn: I'm check/folding here

I take no issue with this line.

Although I'm feeling sunk when everyone doesn't fold on that flop, I don't assume villain has anything but a draw until he shows me so - he may be hanging around with QJs or 88 - but as soon as he does, I'm not pressing the case.

If he just called, how would your river have gone?

Formerly shadow29, now this guy. Back from the days when there were 46 other wookies posting on this board apparently.

My best plan at the time was to hit a 9 . Given the read, I probably would have check-called out of confusion, and later convinced myself that's correct because he probably would have raised a bigger pair earlier and I could possibly snap a bluff. I still would have posted the hand though, asking about all 4 streets instead of all 3.

you'd be surprised how often limpers will fold to this board

you also have your 2-outer that you can catch on the turn to help you
