Party Poker State Date
Hello,
Does anyone know when Party opened to the public? I know it's in 2001, but I'm hoping for a date. Stars was Sept 11th 2001. Party has 2.2bn hands, Stars has 1.9bn, but the former has a lot more players online at once, and I was wondering if the start date could explain the difference. |

Stars was Sept 11th 2001. [/ QUOTE ] Where did you get this from? Although I can't find a start date for them anywhere on the website I am quite sure this is incorrect. I remember that day vividly and my Stars account predates it. |

Re: Party Poker State Date
That was the day it went public. There were beta tests beforehand. I know the date because I work there! If you gimme your User ID I can look it up to confirm the date - PM me if so.

Re: Party Poker State Date
According to archive.org, the first archive of partypoker.com seems to be july 15th, 2001 and pokerstars.com is october 31th, 2001.
How accurate this is, or what it means is up to you. |

Re: Party Poker State Date
archive.org takes a bit to "discover" a site I think. Maybe a few months?
