Does anyone bet this river? My coach tells me that you'll win 50% of the time after he checks the turn and river like this.

Not against an unknown, but it wouldnt be terrible. We're only really doing it to fold Qx and those kinds of hands, and I dont know if theres a heap of value.

I think too many lower pockets play the same way, and not knowing how he plays I probably just check through and expect to scoop the pot occasionally.

I don't know. I usually don't bet in this spot. I doubt a river bet is bad by that much if at all.

Gonna have a hard time doing that when you're playing the board.

I'd play it the same, sometimes fire on the turn, sometimes not, as you get check-raised a decent amount. Anyway if the A high flop isn't scaring him off, I don't think a turn bet will do it unless he's a habitual flop peeler.
