Default Value bet this river?

Yet another value bet hand ... sorry.

PokerStars 5/10 Hold'em (6 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is Button with J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
UTG calls, MP calls, 1 fold, Hero calls, SB completes, BB checks.

Flop: (5 SB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (5 players)
SB checks, BB checks, UTG bets, MP calls, Hero raises, SB folds, BB calls, UTG calls, MP calls.

Turn: (6.50 BB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 players)
BB checks, UTG checks, MP checks, Hero bets, BB calls, UTG calls, MP calls.

River: (10.50 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4 players)
BB checks, UTG checks, MP checks, Hero checks.

Final Pot: 10.50 BB

This gist of it is a bet here folds out any missed draws (ok, no value there). Anyone on a straight draw likely either made it or paired that T. I think in retrospect it is a very thin value bet, but I thought it would really suck to get raised here, because I can't fold in this pot, but I'm probably beat. But the fact that everyone checked to me on the river makes it even more likely I'm good, right?

seems like a clear bet to me. You have 3 potential callers out there. There's a decent chance that two of them will call with a worse hand. The question is can you ever fold for just one more bet?

yes, bet. i think you can fold to a raise quite safely here. you're just not going to see a worse hand after a river c/r unless you're against a maniac.

My oh my, this is another easy one. I have made so many value bets today. They just keep calling with 2nd, 3rd, 4th pair, A-high. It is sweet lovin, I do declare. Value-bet those marginal hands into calling stations, as Ed says.
