Was folding preflop the best play? How to play this hand on flop? Thanks all. I don't have much info on villain. I'm wondering if on the flop I am supposed to auto-bet even though there's overcards, since I was preflop raiser. Can someone tell me what would go on in your head When you're in the position i'm in??

yeah, it seems like you're playing out of your limit... i think i'd usually muck those 5s preflop. check-folding the turn is fine.

You played this hand just fine. On a different type of flop you are obligated to continue this to the river, but on this one, you are behind most of the time, and when you are ahead he's always drawing pretty live, so it's a good fold.

Folding preflop is a good option, but raising isn't bad.

A long time ago I wrote down my "default" preflop plays for middle limit games. To open in MP, for pairs, its 66 for me. You might want to do this yourself.
