Default Party 3/6: Blind Defense

A friend of mine and I can't agree on whether or not it was correct to defend out of the BB on this hand. The villan in this hand was loose and somewhat aggressive pre-flop.

Preflop: Hero is in the BB with 4 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
Folded to the SB who raises, Hero ???

Player A argues that with two low suited cards you have a decent chance of having two live cards and the fact that they are suited gives you enough equity to call one bet here.

Player B argues that even though the cards are suited they just don't have enough value to make a call here.

Any thoughts?
