What are the blinds in this scenario?

[ QUOTE ]
No, my question is more about how do you get a feel for when you will have implied odds to make a call preflop with a low pair, when at that moment you don't have 7-1 odds. I imagine heads up it has to be worse to call than if there are 3 others in. Say there is an open raise for $50, and two others limp: pot is now 150 + blinds so say 165. Its 50 to call. Right now you are only getting 3-1 ish. Is that an auto muck with say 44 or do you just know you will have implied odds to make the call?

I don't know - say $5 and $10 blinds. so pot is $165
My question is prolly more heads up situation cause with three others in - you'll prolly get 7-1 implied by the river if you hit the set.

Getting 3:1 or better (3 or more players in the pot) I will pretty much call any PP for a 3-4x the BB raise. This is my rule, it's not gospel...position plays a large part, If UTG opens for 4xBB I don't know if I call with something like 55 in UTG+1 b/c button might wake up with AA or KK and reraise so I would have to muck.

If it is open raised and reraised in front of me, I will muck all pp's lower than 10s in most cases.

If only short stacks are playing, I might also not call b/c their stacks are so small I might only get paid a little if I hit a set.

hope that answers some of it

No...if I do not flop a set I am out when overs fall...that is the luxury of calling the raise preflop and hitting nothing after the flop...you can get away from it.

A hand like 44 with tons of odds is not worth it since like 5% of the time you'll hit post flop, it's extremely -EV to play to the river with a low PP and a high board.

Interesting, so you just assume that a reraise after a raise is just too strong to call with anything below 10's. Isn't a set a set?? Just as powerful if you hit it. Or does the reraise generally price the implied out? If that makes sense.
