Re: 3/6 call down here or was that wrong?
I don't play 3/6, but if I decide not to 3-bet this pre-flop it is because I intend to C/R the flop.

Re: 3/6 call down here or was that wrong?
I'd 3-bet this preflop as part of my blind defense and lead the flop. If he raises the flop, I'm not sure where I go. If he just calls the flop, I definitely bet the turn since if he doesn't have a K he might well fold a better pocket pair or fold things like AX that missed.
As always, my big problem is what to do when I'm raised post flop HU and I've just got small pockets. |

3 bet preflop against unknown...lead flop. makes the hand easier to play

Re: 3/6 call down here or was that wrong?
ok, so if i do this, and am raised on the flop, what do i do? normally i would call down, but as a part of my attempt to become a winner here, i would prolly end up check/folding turn or river UI.

Re: 3/6 call down here or was that wrong?
You don't have odds to draw to a set. if you're sure you're up against an overpair to your sixes, you should fold to the flop reraise.
With 66, I like to call preflop and checkraise a flop like this. (I'd 3-bet 88+) A lot of opponents will raise your flop lead with overcards, so I prefer the checkraise. |
