Default Deception vs Value PF

Tough full table at highish limits. I raise UTG with KK. UTG+1 3-bets. Button cold calls and everyone else folds. I call. UTG+1 and button are both tight and good players.

Just raise. Wait until you're HU to do this.

I agree completely. HU I like just calling here. In position against 2 other players it can even be fine. But OOP with 2+ other players I think it sucks, not only because you give up some value preflop but because in order to get it back you often have to check and put yourself in danger of giving a painful free card.

I agree with the chorus. I had a hand last night where I just called a third bet with KK when the pot was guarenteed heads-up. But three-handed, the fact is that it is so likely that one player will drop out early in the hand, not raising now foregos an opportunity to take any money from half of your opponents. Bump it up.

I didn't play 60/120 in '02, but is it possible that a 'tough table at highish limits' is not as tough as the table mason was at?
I would lean towards more deception at a table that is full of experts.
