I was there in October and I recall that the Horsehoe has started a small no limit game. I think that it's something like 1/2 blinds with 100 max buy-in.

Default little bigger

by small I'm talking regular buy in is ~300, I should have clarified.

Although the game you described sounds fun and maybe I'll try it.

I went to Vegas about a month ago and stayed at the Monte Carlo. They had a small ($2 & $5 blind, $100 min buyin) NL game going. The dealers there told me this has been getting spread there every weekend.

I will be playing this game at the Horseshoe next week. I will be in Vegas all week long. That really is my pic, but I don't wear makeup in the poker room, and my hair is now almost a crewcut, but still bleached blonde.

Please ask for "Felicia" if you want to meet up.

Little Rant: I hope all of the little Einsteins (oh, excuse me, I mean, Hellmuths) who so looked forward to coming to the Colorado Belle and taking my money due to my "bad play," are reading this. Come get your share! That is, if you are even 21 yet.

When I was there last on business, I stayed at the Golden Nugget (right next to Horseshoe). The NL game at the Shoe can be very nitty or good depending on who is in it. If it's 1-2 blind, it will often be raised to 2-5 blind the first time someone mentions it. I played 2-5 there and it was a very good game due to a couple rich locals messing around. Though the smoke is awful in there.

Whoa, that's awesome! That happens to be the exact buy-in amount for the Colma 5-5 game. You're not going to Vegas 'til next week, right? See you on Sunday at Colma! Game usually gets started around 7:30-7:45p. Show up around 7 and we'll have a drink first.

PS: When Gift of Gab shows up around midnight, we'll all buy in for another $2000-3000, since it's always good to have him covered.

Would you mind posting a mini-report on how the game was? Sounds intriguing.

the monte carlo is the bomb. the clutch is that you can get their microbrew from the brewery down below in the cardroom, which is straight uncut dope. Good stuff. And that 1/2/4/8 [censored] can get out-of-control-good, or out-of-control-tight, which is fun too cause rocks fold and grumble and it's fun.
