Default Re: If...

This question seems to have an easy answer. At least between 61% and 65% of the population would. It amazes me how people think abe sacrafice was a big deal. It's merely a test of recognition of his authority, and has very little to do with "faith". The Abraham "sacrifice" is a historical proof of the non existance of the jew-chirst God. Historically people thought that "authority" did not have as much control over a person as we would think. The Abe-Sacrafice story is one that clearly a all knowing all powerfull god wouldn't use to test "faith". The story was clearly written entirely by man as evidenced by mans misconceptions of his free will to act. Only a person who has not studied Milgram would think this was a test of faith, or a big deal.
