Default letdowns

I vary rarely get excited about things these days, but today I was playing in a double shootout for a WPT seat/ accomodations for the carribean 18+ tournament. I could just pay to travel and play, but the trip is prolly not +EV for me at this point. Winning this would be worth so much more than the 12k its worth, because I don't like spending money, but would love the experience. I am normally so rational about these things, in the sense that it would be far better use of my time to just play limit and pay for a trip, but something is appealing about the idea of winning a seat.

I lost, after being card dead at the final table. Now I remember why getting excited sucks...
