Re: Wsop 2005 winner- Does he have a nickname?
At our bi-monthly Zoo Poker Strategy Conferences we usually called him "Hold'em Hachem and Weep" but last month someone, (was it my chum Dynasty?), shortened this to "Weeper".
That seemed to go down well with all the delegates, so it will probably become his official nickname. I have to admit that Joe "Weeper" Hachem has a certain je ne sais quoi, and it fits his profile to a tee. I wish I'd have thought of it. |

Re: Wsop 2005 winner- Does he have a nickname?
Many years ago, there used to be an old saying that cowboys used, as they revealed and displayed their winning Draw Poker hand, particularly when they held a straight or better, of "Read'em and weep!"
This was changed, by poetic licence, to "Hold'em Hachem and Weep" after Weeper came to the fore by winning the 2005 WSOP Main Event. Now, instead of the longer and perhaps slightly more formal Joe "Hold'em Hachem and Weep" Hachem he is known to his friends simply as "Weeper". |
