Default late in tourney, big stack but lots of chips at stake

50 left out of 650 in a party $33.

average stack is about 10k.

absolutely no read on this guy, i just got moved to his table and have not played a hand with him. should i push here? i'm obviously going for top five in this tourney but i didn't feel right pushing here..

you know, it's funny, the fact he raised less than all in almost pushes my decision further towards folding. i think i might be overthinking thigns a little sometimes.

With no read on villain, I would probably fold. Remember, villain has no read on you either - so he is less likely to be making a move on you.

And I agree, the less-than-all-in bet looks like strength.

You have a drawing hand and a big stack, why risk to much? If you had a small stack and in need of making a move soon then go all in.

He probably has a high pair and overbetting to get a call from a player who don't believe him. If no pair, he probably has AK too.
