33: BB D 50/100
stacks:
BB (hero): 1000 SB: 1800 BTN: 1700 CO (pusher): 1100 MP3: 2400 CO pushes, folds to me. i have A7o. if i put CO on a very wide range of Q9+, K2+, A2+, 22+ (and dumb range - 78s would obviously be a better pushing hand for villain, but i'm lazy and using sngpt defaults), i'm 50.7% to win. i thought that would make it a clear fold. i'm getting only a little bit of pot odds (250 in dead money on a 900 call), so i thought that i should fold for sure. but sngpt says it's +0.1%, so could go either way. anyway, just surprised to see how willing you should be to gamble when you're not in a great spot to cash but are far from desperate. (and a8 is 52.3% and +0.5% to call) |

fold preflop. and since others behind me will do the same, i'll do it for them:

Re: 33: BB D 50/100
I thought SNGPT can't calculate EV for calls? Only pushes?

Re: 33: BB D 50/100
Sorry, I meant from the BB. I can't select the BB as my position, it's grayed out?

Re: 33: BB D 50/100
+.1% is a clear fold for me. Why take this puny edge when you can just mash your chips in next hand you can be first in and get +.4% or +.5%?
