2002 WSOP final table

Settling down to sleep after a long night of many substances, I turned on ESPN Classic and started watching the final table of the 02 World Series. At one point Phil Hellmuth makes the following comment "If Varkonyi wins, I'll shave my head on camera."
Unfortunately I passed out 2 minutes before the final hand. Did Phil actually shave his head? This has been kinda buggin me...
