A somewhat flexible view of the T&C shows this is against the rules. While you are free to post on the 2+2 website using an alias, you may not post pretending to be someone else. I figured the person who had the account was most likely going to use it the way a "Dead Sucks" account would be used. Either way, I feel comfortable with that one.

I didn't complain at the time. The ban was perfectly legitimate. For what it's worth, I only created it after the real steve jumped ship temporarily. So at the time, I was actually impersonating an ex-poster, not really an existing one.

I guess it helps to be funny when you are breaking the rules.

I once had a Lee Jones gimmick account. My gimmick was to go around the micro and small stakes limit forums and dispense exaggerated weak tight advice.
It was locked a long time ago. One poster referred to it as "The lamest gimmick account of all time." [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
