Gosh, I'm gonna miss baseball!

What a season! As a fan it was a dream come true and as a handicapper it was very lucrative. The most enjoyable baseball season I have ever experienced. I think the revolution in baseball statistics is helping fuel fat lines which translates to more profits. While this new breed has excellent undertanding of the underlying numbers they don't seem to understand old fashioned line pricing and overbet even more than before the team that "should win" regardless of price. This seasons lines were funkier than ever with lots of premium placed on big names and percieved "good" teams making most favorites throughout the season really bad bets.

I love football but still think it's a pure sucker bet. I'll be biding my time to turn my bankroll loose on college hoops. Lots of tasty edges to be had there [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

I agree with you mr b, for my first full season of betting bats and bases it went much better then i would have imagined, even more so down the stretch and in the playoffs..
