Default Bet and fold to a call (low content)

I've seen this on the river before when someone is bluffing, but never on the flop.

Late-night Commerce 6/12. Usual loose/passive crowd. After about an hour into the session I haven't had a chance to show any hands down so I don't think they've formed an image of me yet. Then the following hand comes up.

A LAP older gentleman opens UTG, folded to me and I 3-bet on the Button with J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. The blinds fold and we see a flop of A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. He bets, I call and he mucks.

That is strange. Did the dealer deal the turn? I wish these things happened to me.

I watched a guy go AI during the rebuy portion of a tournament, he got called on his turn AI bet, and then MUCKED before a river was dealt, he said he didn't want to show his cards down and blew $200 on a rebuy. Insane? There were certainly draws possible and even a 32o with a river 3 might have won.

Fools and their money...
