Hmm yeah, Well i figure say he has AK/AQ/AA/QQ/JJ I'm going to get some good action in a positon to C/r if i hit it...

So the implied odds were sexy!

You calling river im 99% sure?

I agree with Clayton about the flop call, it's very thin. Overcard outs may not be clean, we may only have a gutshot, etc.

If you call the turn raise, you must call the river. I'd probably call down here since he could be a LAG overplaying AQ, TT, etc.

I'm guessing you have no reads on villain.

wtf? this is an incredibly standard flop call getting 11:1 even IF we only have a gutshot.

This is correct. I stupidly thought the bets on the flop were $1.

I disagree with almost this entire post? Flop call seems fine, I'd check-call the turn since we're not folding a better hand and the worse ones are rare enough that we can't bet for value IMO. River does seem ok if OP was planning to call.

Standard flop call. I would also C-R the turn as an alternative play but the "donk" bet is also good (it allows you to donk with weaker hands in the future).

If the villain seems aggressive, I would check and raise the turn. And call down if tree bet into (crying). Is this too aggressive?

If the villain seems passive, i would play it the same way you did and call the river.

Whitout reads i use both of these playes.

Whether I like the turn depends on how light villain has been 3-betting. Can you give me a good range of hands that villain would 3-bet preflop that you would beat? I see AQ and JJ as automatic possibilities. If that's all you've got, I don't like your bet at all.
