Default Who was the loser who said Atlanta was a great sports town?

10,000 unsold tickets yesterday. GMAB. The fans there are horrific.

The division playoffs are just like a regular season game to a braves fan, since they make it every year. They're simply taken forgranted by now, although, I suppose I don't know if they sold out or not at the beginning of their run. BTW, what an amazing run of excellence. Bobby Cox has to be the best manager ever and it's not even close.
Cleveland, now there's a [censored] town. Nobody came to their games despite their exciting run and collapse in the playoff chase. Nobody ever comes to A's games either although that might be due to the stadium.

Interesting, do you know of any attendence stats available online to prove it? I ask because I have a "friend" from Cleveland and he was really [censored] annoying complaing that nobody was at the Whitesox games in the last couple weeks b/f the playoffs. So obviously I would love to show him some stats.

Braves were huge when they won the WS in '95. One of the downfalls of a team making the playofffs 10 years in a row since winning a world series but NOT winning another one is that the fans have "seen this all before". So less come.

Sad, sad excuse.
