Default Two hands from Stasr 100+9

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t200 (9 handed) converter

CO (t2135)
Button (t3265)
SB (t2590)
Hero (t3355)
UTG (t5690)
UTG+1 (t2770)
MP1 (t5035)
MP2 (t4090)
MP3 (t9240)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
UTG calls t200, UTG+1 raises to t600, MP1 calls t600, 5 folds, Hero calls t400..?

Final Pot: t7590

i know this should be an easy fold.. with not a good hand, OOP, and with my stack situation.

But what's wrong with the my reasoning.. 400 to win 1700 just preflop.. with this kind of action i can count on a lot (enough to cover me i figure, ~2900).. so it's 400 to win 4600.. now to win that 4900 i have to hit the flop pretty hard but it just looked tempting.

and for the 2nd hand..

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t200 (9 handed) converter

(t7110)
BB (t4375)
UTG (t7845)
UTG+1 (t5130)
MP1 (t2025)
MP2 (t4965)
MP3 (t1775)
CO (t6298)
Button (t2800)

Preflop: Button has T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

UTG raises to 600, folds to the button.

What's better here call and fold to a busy flop? or push.. or fold.

That call is horrible you just stuck 1/8 of your stack in pre-flop out of position with 5-7. You won't get paid off for your whole stack every time you hit and you don't have the odds even if you did.

2nd hand

Push or fold if UTG isn't raising liberally you can find a better spot.

yea after playing around with pokerstove, it is a terrible call with my stack size.. it's just i really like playing those kinds of hands.. i gotta force myself to save that kind of stuff when i have a ton of chips.. and probably not then either.

thanks

By now pot odds have been so drilled in everyones brains. But you gotta say [censored] the math sometimes. Youd have to hit that flop so ruthlessly to get everyones money. This is a leak. Don't bleed.

with the tens, it could go so many different ways. I feel like you don't have enough to reraise, not that thats the necessarily smart, but if you did, you'd have to pop it to 1800, and even he misses the flop, he may come with overs on the flop for the extra 1k.

I'd probably just call, any ace comes i'm ghost. rags, i'm raising his continuation, if he's got tens beat, god bless his soul, and i'll see him next tournament.
