Well, he stop-n-go'ed me, and if he caught any part of the flop I'm drawing dead. But I picked up a flush draw?

I like the flop raise to cut down the field. If MP2 has a 7, I would expect a check raise rather than a bet out. I'd call and fold the river UI. If you make a hand and it's checked to you, bet (and definitely fold to a check raise).

A read here helps a lot, though. I can certainly see folding this turn if villain is generally passive.

folds. itll cost $4 to see the river and at least $4 to see if your flush (assuming u got it) holds up. i dont like this. possible reason for the SnG- had a 7. now he turned a boat.

Man, that's tough. I think I'd call here and fold the river UI (no A, Q or [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]). I'm willing to believe that's not right, but I've often seen 77-TT played this way, as well as 86 and the pot's pretty big.

Disclaimer: First time responding to a posted hand.

I'd call the flop. I count 1.5 outs for each overcard and 1.5 for the backdoor flush draw. I might be messing up these terms but - pot equity is roughly 20%? and your share is 20%? (1/5 players), so I'm iffy on the raise.

I'd call the turn. MP2 didn't 3-bet your raise on the flop, so maybe he's holding a small PP (non 55 or 77) and you aren't drawing dead on a double-paired board.

The raise is to hopefully mow down the field and get it heads up. You definitely want to continue in this hand and there are a lot of hands you'd like to see fold, so this is the best way to do it. In theory you'll get to check through the turn UI as a bonus (although a bet would be better, then reevaluate on the river), but the stop n' go kinda ruined that. You may take down this pot UI this way.

My initial thought was muck it.

But then I thought, a good portion of the time, many of your outs might be good. MP1 could have anything from 99-22 (excluding 77 and 55 for your outs to be good), or maybe even a bare ace and thinking that you probably don't have a 7 since another one just fell, so he bets out again. If any of this is the case, then it's correct to call getting 8.25:1.

But then there's also UTG still in the hand, and who knows what he has. Call me crazy but I'm almost more worried about him.

With no reads, I think I call it HU and fold it otherwise.

Hmm.. I like the discussion, although I still don't think a PP would play this way unless it was something along the lines of TT-88, and *maybe* 66, and even then, it would be bold of them. If I miss the river, do I call down 1 bet with A high?
