Default I moved up and immeditately got hammered

I know this has been covered many times but..

I used to play the 20s all the time

Killed my bankroll had to start over at the 10s

Got 50 buyins for 20s

Started playing and lost 10 buyins off the bat.

10 buyins is nothing, you should know that by now.

I think I played against you today at the 20s. If your name is same on party. You're definitely good enough to beat the level don't be down about dropping some buyins when you first move up a level. I think this happens to a lot of people. I wasn't being nearly as aggressive as I was in the 10s mainly because I just afraid to lose 22 dollars on one hand. I just went back and compared HH from the 10s and the 20s.

As long as you're not becoming uber-passive at bubble time as a result of shaken confidence, stick it out. Any dedicated student of this forum should be able to be the $20's at a decent rate. Nothing to be concerned about yet.

my guess is that you are not shoving enough hands. the 20-30's are just as easy when shovbotting correctly

Youre probably having problems pulling the trigger on bubble. Normal when one moves up.

I think the problems in moving up levels are as much psychological as they are ability related. At least that was the deal in my case, as it always took me a little while to feel comfortable at a new level. Personally, I usually play mixed levels before committing to a new one, such as 3 50s and one 109 at first, then 2-2, then moving to the 109s. Then the same thing at other levels. For me at least, that way works best...

Thanks to all who replied since the responses are so one sided I will stick it out and pushbot more. More importantly.....

What do you think of my new avatar?
