Official word on Party SnG with VIP

so i got the call today, they're offering me a 20k hands bonus...however, i told them i was mainly a sitngo player and this is how they explained it to me

if a tourny is 100+9, then it counts as 9 raked hands.

i heard this and was like WTF? considering i was a 11s/22s player, theres NO way i could hit this.

however, i accepted the deal and am thinking of transitioning to ring games now

That is horrible - how many raked ring hands does anyone do in an hour (1 handed)? These SNGs take about an hour and obviously you see multiples of 9 hands.

how much is this bonus worth and why did you just "accept it" and not ask for less hands?

I pay 35c in rake every hand. Party makes a ton off limit players. How many hands does a tourny last? 60? So I'm paying the equivalent of $21 per tourny. What level sit and go does that equate to? 400 + 21 or something.

It is not uncommon for lower limit SnG players to pay four figures of rake each month and for high limit players to pay five figures of rake each month.

Guess we have different definitions of "nothing".

Umm no, it's not.. For each $22 sng you play you get 6 points. which works out to 3333 sng's

some sng players pay over $25,000 a month in rake. I guess thats "nothing"


Do limit players pay $240 an hour in rake? Because some sng'ers do.

This seems incredibly unrealistic. At 200+15. you'd have to run 16 200+15s an hour. How many SNGers seriously play this sort of volume? Not very damn many compared to 5 figure MGR ring gamers.
