So much hostility, so little analysis.

Look man what do you have? Seriously. Look at the board. You have a pair below any card on the board, there's straight and flush possibilities out there, your reverse implied odds are horrible, and even if he's on a draw he's almost certainly a favourite against your 8's. Even if you hit a Q you can't be sure you're good, and if you hit an 8 you're in a world of pain.. what's the point? Just let it go. You might as well have 72o in this situation, at least you'd know where you stand.

You're not listening are you? His range is inconsequential, because by the time you figure out if you're currently ahead of what he actually holds or not, you've put so much into the pot you're going to be calling anyway. Do you think you're ahead here enough of the time to be betting the pot for 125? Your line here is a leak. I'll say no more.

This post requires much of the former and little of the latter.

Alright, I'm busting your balls a bit and I'm really half joking my way through this thread, but dude you should be able to know why this spot sucks and is such a no brainer. Just listen to tigerite, there's no point in saying it twice.

Hero calls

Flop: J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Hero bets out 125
Villain Calls

Turn 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Hero bets out 155
Villain raises (715) to 715
Villain is all-in

No, Hero is going to have called and show us all how brilliant he is because the Villian had some busted draw (this time) and thus it must always be the right move, and isn't at all results-oriented thinking, you see.

Holy [censored]. Fold. How is this last decision even easier than any of the subsequent ridiculously easy decisions.
