BTW - anybody know who these announcers are? Nice to listen to poker announcers who have some clue about strategy.

[/ QUOTE ]

They have chosen not to reveal their secret identities at this time.

Regarding the announcers, they're mid limit props at the Bike.

hypothetically, if i was sitting at this table and picking my nose, would the people operating the hole-cam be able to see me?

You almost have to slowplay flopped quads.

A revelation I just had. Hollywood played his Q9 (flopped full) perfectly.

Anyone please correct me if i get some details wrong.

Ramsey (seat 7 in bb), hollywood in seat 2 with Q9 limps, and george in seat 4 raises. ramsey (QJo) /hollywood calls

flop Qd 9hQc

Checked to george who bets 1/2 pot
Ramsey calls
Hollywood calls

Now, you can make a case for hollywood to bet out not to represent the Q but to represent the 9 because most of the time a bet out on a paired board usually means they paired the other card in his hand.

You could say that ramsey is slowplaying his Q but in reality, he is playing it safe.

If hollywood check-raises this flop even the minimum, ramsey could be able to release his hand because what can he beat. The only reasonable hand he beats is QT. If hollywood can make this play with Q8-Q2, then obviously ramsey should raise all-in. However, He's behind Q9/KQ/AQ and splitting with QJ.

Knowing this information it is easy to see why the flop was checked through.

What I would like to know is if a J did not fall on the river, would Ramsey lose all his chips with trips with a jack kicker?

Default Semi- bluff question

Often it seems you guys promote raising or check raising with a 4 flush on the flop. However, in a loose game if there is very little chance of getting your 1 or 2 opponents to fold, is there a positive expectation? Also, if it doesn't hit and you check on 4th street then you are displaying super weakness.
