Review: Hand 19
Hero is UTG with Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
PreFlop Hero Calls, UTG+1 Calls, MP1 folds, MP2 folds, MP3 folds, LP1 Calls, CO folds, Button folds SB folds, BB checks (4 players) FLOP: J J 5 (rainbow)( Pot Size: 2.25 BB ) BB checks, Hero checks, UTG+1 BETS, LP1 Calls BB folds, Hero folds I would raise this UTG and depending on the number of players, bet that difficult to hit flop. |

Re: Review: Hand 19
I would have raised preflop.
A bet on the flop is definately possible, it would have been even better if you had an ace (EDIT: oops, thought it was 3-handed, 4-handed it changes a bit betting is still possible but I would then like to have some reads to do it, check/folding should be standard). Check/calling the flop would suck and betting is better than check/raisng. |

Re: Review: Hand 19
Bet pre-flop. If this knocks out one or more players out, I'd fire a bet at the flop. However, against this many players and no pre-flop raise, I check/fold the flop.

Re: Review: Hand 19
Would have played it the same. Limped in and then check folded that flop.

Re: Review: Hand 19
KQo is almost always a raise for me from any position.
I play the flop the same, although a bet might not be the wrong move. At the moment I'm staying away from taking stabs at flops like this with more than a couple players as I tend to spew chips. |
