Final Table charity tourney
Last night I was participating in a 250 buy-in charity tourney, with prizes for everyone at the last table and 5k for first place. We started with 300 players and I survived as an average stack until we got to the final table.
The first hand of interest, I was in the CO with AT o/s. It was folded to me. Blinds were 5k, 10k. The BB has about 7k left and the button was a girl who had only learned the game last week but had a ton of chips and seemed to like flat calling alot. What do you do in this spot? Smooth call, min raise, or push and why? |

Re: Final Table charity tourney
I'm assuming you have very deep stacks, more than T300,000.
I'd probably raise here to T25,000-T40,000. If button calls, I'd make a single continuation bet (1/2 the pot) after the flop, and stop if she looked like she was going to call me all the way down. I'd push any Ace. If you have less than 15XBB or (T150,000) then I'd just push the hand. BB has only 7K left and will be getting 5:1 on his money. He should call with ANY two cards. |
