Re: 180man SNG Hand #1 - Really really weird AKs
this is a $20 180-man on stars correct?
You will see K6o and QJ enough to make this an extremely profitable call. I'm not being sarcastic or exaggerating either. |

CLAYTON's Range
Text results appended to pokerstove.txt 8,981,180,208 games 46.157 secs 194,578,941 games/sec Board: Dead: equity (%) win (%) tie (%) Hand 1: 29.5195 % 23.12% 06.40% { AKs } Hand 2: 38.3004 % 33.77% 04.53% { 99+, AKs, AKo } Hand 3: 32.1801 % 28.88% 03.30% { 99+, AQs+, AQo+ } --- MY RANGE 15,725,289,888 games 66.967 secs 234,821,477 games/sec Board: Dead: equity (%) win (%) tie (%) Hand 1: 34.1452 % 28.32% 05.82% { AKs } Hand 2: 30.7703 % 27.76% 03.01% { 88+, AQs+, KQs, AQo+, KQo } Hand 3: 35.0844 % 30.91% 04.17% { 99+, AQs+, AQo+ } So if Clay really believes that is the range for MP1, then its a fold. If not, call |

[ QUOTE ] How am I supposed to interpret button's call though? [/ QUOTE ] I think it's in fact very light on AA, KK. [/ QUOTE ] it could actually be heavy on AA b/c the button is looking for a call (or hopefully an all-in reraise) from the original raiser? What other pair wouldn't want to re-raise all-in to shut out any stray Ace that certainly would have odds to call at this point? |

Re: 180man SNG Hand #1 - Really really weird AKs
Tough spot but I can't see myself folding AKs here but then again it is likely that Button is sitting on AA given the cold call.
Looks like he wants the action from you. I don't love the fold but can't see calling here. I'm not in the habit of folding AKs but if ever there was a spot. Is shoving the best option?? |

Re: 180man SNG Hand #1 - Really really weird AKs
Maybe button had you both read for AK (or a good chance)? I'll take 44 vs. 2 guys w/AK any day. But I'll only shoot for it when I'm desperate, which he certainly wasn't.

Re: 180man SNG Hand #1 - Really really weird AKs
Is the button's play terrible if he puts Clayton on exactly ATs+ AJo+, and the push on AJs+, AQo+ exactly? Actually even if you include the pairs say, 66-TT, if you know Clayton is good and has a good chance of folding to a freaky looking overcall. How donkish is this, actually?
Out of curiosity, not endorsement... -D. |

How could he possiblty "put them" on overcards given the action. And FWIW I may have folded Clay, I misread the origial post. Usually I'd call off there, but I would consier a fold. |
