Re: AA in a unique situation (P* 1/2)
OK. Of course I agree with your comment here. I think it would have been better to raise a bit more in that other hand, but don't think we have any major disagreements at this point. I agree that position is quite important.

Re: AA in a unique situation (P* 1/2)
I would have bet more on the flop and on the flop. At least 2/3 of the pot more likely the full pot since I am trying to give off the impression that I am stealing. The likely possibility my opponet could have the K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] would scare the crap out of me

I was the original poster, and I thought his comment was in reply to my original post where I bluffed some guy off top pair... The post was a two part cause and effect thread.

Nah, if you look, you'll see that he was replying to me and my suggestion that you re-raise more preflop. But it is fine, all worked out now. Glad we could clarify that his comment did NOT refer to your first hand.

Re: AA in a unique situation (P* 1/2)
Villain turned over T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] for the flush. A reraise to $32 preflop probably would've knocked him out, but I'd rather he called $24 than folded to $32 with that hand. I don't think I could have gotten away from this after the flop unless a fourth diamond fell. Probably should have bet more on the flop.
