JTo SB
20-table SNG, final table 9-handed, blinds 800/1600/100. I am in 2nd place with 47K, leader has 70K, 2 stacks 35-45K. Just moved to final table BB was not willing to be pushed around in different position relative to me when I was tournament leader earlier.
Folded to me in SB with JTo. BB has T24K after posting. What should I do?

Tough to say without reads and obviously the villain doesn't know much about you in regards to blind stealing.
I would probably be inclined to push here because a raise might leave you vulnerable to a re-steal and if he flat calls you will have to play OOP.

What should I do? [/ QUOTE ] If your read is that villain won't be pushed around how does trying to push him makes any sense? I would probably just call and see a flop. Folding is not horrible if you feel he is going to raise you with any two.

this depends on his calling range when met with resistance.
Good players with big stacks have wide (re)raising ranges, and pretty narrow calling ranges (relative to the raising standards) Against these types of big-stacks I prefer the limp re-raise, if he's likely raising, preflop. if hes the type of big stack that plays aggressively but doesn't back down, and makes *bad* calls, id probably just call and fold if he raises preflop. If we get to see a flop, great! we can hopefully flop something and let him use his mis-found aggressiveness to pay us off... if we miss a flop, its cost us 600. c'est la vie.

If BB is not willing to be pushed around, I usually limp/fold here. Partly because they won't always raise, and partly because I'm setting up a limp/reraise for later. If BB had less chips so that you could comfortably push, I would push this. But his stack makes an all-in resteal almost perfect, and you can't call it. I think pushing risks too much here, especially since he might have a looser calling range than a normal opponent. I would probably bet any flop that had high cards in it, but would be less likely to bet a 267 flop.
