So tonight at one of my 10/20 SH tables, and I'm doing fairly well, hitting a lot of hands, and dragging a number of pots.

Player A has repeatedly called me fish since I sat down. Ironically, Player A's stats are 45/5/0.4.

Then, again after dragging a huge pot:

Player A says: "[Adam] is the kind of player that relies on luck. He always gives is all back."

Followed by Player B (34/5/0.6): "[Adam] is one of the worst players I've seen on here."


I was getting ready to go to bed anyway, so I replied, "I don't think I'll be giving any of it back tonight." Then I left, with $1100 of their money. [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]


I don't see any signs of the fish ponds drying up.....

similiar thing happened tonight. i had 3 maniacs at 3 of my tables. they were absolutely nuts raising every single pot it was ridiculous. i got called a fish twice by 2 of them. unfortunately i was not vindicated and am down 35BBs for the day. pooey [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

happened to me today as well - dropped 50 quick bb at 2/4 to 3 maniacs

I'm used to the insults....but usually they come from someone after I draw out on them or something like that.

I had a guy the other night who was something like 45/20 who was complaining about me and the other guy at the table being the biggest morons ever, adding us to his buddy-list, etc etc after HE would make the most idiotic call-downs.

Board of A74K2 or something....3-bet flop and a bet and raise on the turn I think.
I bet the river with whatever I have and he just calls with his T8o.
And THEN goes on to insult me with my 2-pair or whatever I had and how horrible a player I am.


Again, I'm used to it if he was ahead somewhere along the way and is just stupidly frustrated....or if I played it in some way that a fish is going to think is unusual.

But for HIM to play so aggressively and then call-down with something THAT bad and THEN insult me was just down-right confusing.
New strategy perhaps?

At first I thought he was asking me about what time I got off my real job to play on PP. Plus I'm 4 tabling and his text is scrolling away which is why my answers don't make much sense. A couple weeks earlier I got this:

Edit: Funny how similar the two hands were. I raised pre-flop (KJs in hand one, KQ in hand two). Led the flop and turn open-ended with overcards. Got raised on the turn, and got to check-raise the river after making my hands.
