Default what do i do???

this is one of my definite down falls in playing on the bubble. i can never really figure out what the right decision is... i try to weigh all the negatives and the positives and make an educated guess and act on it. anyway, i'd like to know what you would do.... thanks.

i amazingly ended up winning this one.... but what i dont know is if i won by complete luck, or was it by good decision making?

2 problem hands.....

You haven't given any reads, so I'll assume it's a normal 22 player array

Hand 1 blows. You are not in a cash game, and stacks are incredibly shallow. Save your chips in hand 1 for a better spot.

Hand 2 looks fine, and more like it.

I always get screwed at the same point. You're the BB for 300 in hand 1, it's only 345 more to call, you're almost compelled to for the 940 chips already in the pot. 35o, though, could be a legit fold even given these odds. Kinda sucks, because now you're the new shortstack and have to pay the SB next, I guess it's cross your fingers time.

Same with hand 2. UTG's raise is a signal to the other two players, "I've got a hand that'll take him down". Almost half your stack is in the pot, but it's a laydown. Pay the SB next, and look ahead to 'psychoboy'... he's going to have to pay 600 of his 975 before the big blind comes back to you, cross your fingers and hope he gets the shaft or you pick up AA.
