Default Welcome to the 2003 World Records Of Poker

I thought it would be a cool idea to see some of the crazy and unusual stuff that's happened to everyone here during their pokering. As we all know, if you play the game long enough, you're bound to see/experience some very bizarre stuff. Below is a list of my personal Poker Records from the past several years(don't ask me how I remember them). Feel free to post some of your own records and see if you make it into poker history!

Longest Session: 26 hours

Most BB's Won In A Single Session: 134BB(5-10)

Most BB's Won In A Single Pot: 72BB(5-10)that's not a typo.

Most Times Dealt Same Hand Consecutively: 4 [img]/forums/images/icons/heart.gif[/img] 3 [img]/forums/images/icons/heart.gif[/img] three times.

Most Hands Won In A Row(Full Game): 4 sad isn't it?

Most Hands Played In A Row(Full Game): 6 (AA,AA,AKs,JJ,AA,KJs)

Most Consecutive Folds(Full Game): 102 ya you read it right.

I hope to see some other Poker Records. If you can think of any other categories add them please.

Sorest lip from biting it: 6 gutshot straights made from his (yes, all from 1 player) 2nd pair kick in a total of 14 games.

Biggest losing session: 60BB, same as above session.

Added: Flopping a K high flush only to have another player flop an A high flush (thank god that was limit poker).

Most consecutive losses with KK: 13

The next time I had it was in the BB, and it was folded to me. After that I lost twice more before finally dragging a pot with it. I haven't felt the same about the hand since.

Most hands won in a row: 6

Most BB's won in a single hour: 114 (!!) 2 wild 3-6 tables online.

Worst beat ever: AA vs 65 on A J 6 r board. 600$ NL pot. Great bluff by him heh.

A couple that stick out in my mind.

Aces three times in a row ( black aces 2nd and 3rd time ) 10-20 ... followed by KK. I almost started laughing ... has anyone else had this happen? FYI I broke even in those 4 hands.

3 hrs at one 10-20 table without seeing a flop outside of blinds. ( obviously not online! ) funny thing is I was not the tightest at the table.

Good topic Prince, I have several but I'll limit my post to the best (worse) one ever for me.

We play a Tuesday night N/L game with a $500 buyin. Full table (for us that is 8 handed) and 2nd hand of the evening in the Holdem round. I am dealt AA in the cutoff, UTG (very agressive player) bets $100 (blinds are 5/10) folded to me and I make it $200 the button smooth calls as does the SB, the BB makes it $300, UTG calls as do I, the button and the SB. Flop is 5 handed and it comes 2 2 2, SB goes all-in with his last $200 everyone calls (all-in ) and I am loving life leading with the nut full house in a $2500 pot! WOOHOO!! We all show our hands and 4 of the contenders groan. They show QQ for UTG and the SB and KK for the button and the BB. Turn brings the case duece, now the button hollers out "Gimmee and Ace!" Bummer of bummers a two outer comes on the turn an ace and we all chop the pot minus the $5 rake.

Certainly my worst moment ever. I've replayed the hand many times in my mind and with this crew a 5 way chop is the best I could have ever hoped for. Once these dudes get a hand you need to pry it from thier cold dead fingers to make them let go.

I was dealt AA three times in a row while playing Paradise $.50-$1. I didn't show down the first two, and though I'm very reticent, I was in the process of typing that I had just gotten AA twice in a row, when the third pair showed up. I decided not to finish typing because I figured they would never believe it. And probably wouldn't care to boot. Won one in a showdown, won the blinds the other two.

Now I'm waiting for KK, QQ and JJ thrice.

Ring game, full table, 3/6 limit HE.

I was dealt A,A. Lots of action, rather large pot.

Board was K,rag,T,rag, rag. No flush, no strayt.

Winner had K,T for two pair.

I showed my broken A,A.
Three seats to my right showed the other A,A.
To her right was J,J and to his right was Q,Q.

We were very sad.

'later,
WillYum

As things go, I tend to remember the bad streaks moreso than the good ones.

I had a stretch in 1996 when I lost with AA 48 out of 50 times over a period of several weeks. I know this because naturally, I started to keep track after getting 'em cracked about 10 or so times in a row. It was getting to the point where when I got the Aces, I was mentally writing out a cheque for about $160 (20-40 game) made payable to the "schmuck in seat 3". The game that I played in rarely ever featured a flop taken by less than 5 players - this was the year that casino poker first came to Vancouver and we were all clueless (including me).

2 years ago, I lost $2800 in an online 20-40 game without winning a pot in the session (about 6 hours or so if memory serves me right)

On the bright side, I had a 34 session winning streak several years ago at the Holiday Inn 10-20 game here in Vancouver. Even that had a negative to it in that there were many sessions when I kept playing way too long just to keep the streak alive. This past year, I had a 17 session winning streak. One night, I was down about $250. I had an early meeting the next day at work so the wiser me left the poker game at 11 pm as scheduled. Streaks be damned.

In a 5 player max 20-40 table online, I was up 7k in 4 or 5 hours and then gave back 4K in the next two or three hours. And I am not a wild player so you can imagine the churning of my stomach during this roller coaster ride. Winning 3K for the session felt just brutal if you can believe that.
