Hmm... Guess you have to actually make huge bluffs once in a while in order to get paid off on real hands against him. I'm guessing you showed when he folded? seems a bit silly to me though.

Is your plan to show it if he folds?

I feel like you don't overbet when you hold good hands consistently (from what I've seen at least), so I don't understand how this helps you for metagame purposes. If you overbet the nuts often, then this would make more sense to me.

I'm not going to even attempt to share my thoughts on what it looks like you're both representing as at these stakes it would be more like guessing for me.

Analyzing a hand like this as a singular, independant event may lead to the 'this is silly' conclusion. But I think if something like this is used as an element of part of a bigger game plan it can be good and dangerous.

The thing with these overbets is setting a good range. Once prahlad calls and sees you are capable of something like this, then he'll open up the range of hands that he calls a bet like this with. You should also expand the range from only air and only v strong hands to hands in between.

I think calling this 'silly' is incorrect. In context (KKF and Prah. have been playing a lot of heads up) this seems reasonable.

I think he folds a lot of hands here and he doesn't have trips...I wonder if a straight looks you up here?

edit: also, you aren't gonna get much useful advice on 2+2, since nobody really plays lag like this (or posts about these overbet bluffs). You're using a mahatma style play where nobody plays like mahatma. If you know what you are doing with this play, this is a VERY powerful play

Here's a question from a micro-limit guy: how much EGO is in your game - really????

I take it both of you are thoroughbred professionals and you know each other's styles intimately (and from your posts, I know u and Arb have history), but is that risk-reward ration really necessary to bluff home a $1300 pot??

Arbitrary probably has Kane on a range like a boat or air so I'd think there is hardly a difference between calling with trips or a straight (or one pair). That is, until some sort of ovebet dynamic between arb and kane has been set up.

He already calls him in these wierd spots... Not sure if you saw the AA hand on the 10qx q board.
Best I can guess at is KKF senses that he's a bit smarter from the call and needs to reopen that play...
