As long as they can win a game they should be able to beat out the Browns.

No, but the Browns will be up there too without a doubt. I'm expecting a Top 8 pick from the Browns despite improving every single offensive position.

hmmm, forgot about them. I guess getting #3 and not getting leinart might be worse...

Not that the Bears expect much out of their offense. Hell, last year everytime they had an interception, fumble recovery or kick return I would just start screaming "Take it to the House!" because that was the only way they were going to score.

My clinging, flickering hope is that Grossman hasn't looked real good in this offense this pre-season. Hanging Chad and Orton have looked better. They just need to complete a few easy passes and a couple of incomplete bombs and then turn around and hand the ball off.

They can do that right. They have been doing that all preseason.

Of course that is against second and third string defenses...LA LA LA LA I CAN"T HEAR YOU BRAIN!!

Well, Jeff Blake is a Bear. He's 30x better than Hutch.

the bears select Matt Leinart, QB, USC.

crap

If the Bears have this pick and like Kyle Orton, they pass on Leinert. I suspect he'll wind up in Miami.

As a Gators and Bears fan, I am really disappointed. I was hoping Rex would have a nice breakout year and at least separate himself from all these other Gator QBs who have stunk up the NFL over the years.

[/ QUOTE ]

Whatever. You have some good years ahead as a Gators fan.

Even if the Browns sucked enough to get the #1 pick, and Leinart won the Heisman again and led the Trojans to the National title, the Browns wouldn't pick him. My best bet would be most likely a trade down, or picking D'Brickashaw Ferguson, that beast OL from Virginia.

Didn't the Browns just take Frye to be their QB? They could go Brooks here, everyone is high on that guy. What LB returns kicks? The DE from BC is also pretty good and I'm sure Crennell will want to go D.
