Hero (t9390)
UTG+1 (t20833)
UTG+2 (t16310)
MP1 (t20428)
MP2 (t19928)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
Hero Raises to 2500.
MP3 is all in for 15856.
(everyone else has folded)

I have no reads on MP3. The average chip stack at this point was about 12,500. Blinds are 500/1000. What should I do? Was it correct to raise preflop UTG?

I would just open push b/c I really don't want to make a decision if I get re-raised.

are you saying this because you are short stack, or because it's a vulnerable hand?

I'd lean towards folding here. With you stack and your raise UTG, I'm pretty sure MP3 has to figure you to have at worst AKo. His push is simply trying to get you to commit the rest of your chips with a worse hand than his. Sure, he might be doing it with AK and you're off to the races. But that would be your BEST case scenario. Most likely you're 4:1 underdog.

You don't fold here when you have so few chips. He should have just pushed in preflop.

Open push PF so you're not faced with this decision with 25% of your stack already in the middle and the blinds about to hit you.

At this point, this becomes an easy call and you hope villain has AK/AQ and you're racing but folding shouldn't even be considered an option if you are playing to win.
