I'm a bit skeptical of charging yourself to draw.

i don't get it.

What are you trying to achieve with a cap and/or a turn raise? I'm having a hard time seeing how you're doing anything but charging yourself extra to draw but I'm willing to be educated.

I see the merits of cold-calling as far as costing me less to draw, but I felt that if I maintained some agression I might be able to fold the button out on the turn. So, I capped, and both called. The plan was, as mentioned by somebody in this thread, to raise any spade turn. The turn was not a spade, it was a 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] and BB checked to me, I bet, both called. The river was the J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] and BB bet, I folded, button called "to keep him honest." BB showed QJ for the flopped two pair, rivered boat. Button decided to show his AA.
