I need help in this area as well. I like groups with strong lyrics. My tastes are pretty old, but Elvis Costello, for instance, is one of my favorite musicians.

Cool Mat. How old are you? Do you like the 90s-present stuff? I guess I got too busy in grad. school and work life to continue developing my tastes. Most of what I like is from 80s and before.
