Default Down comforter

Just took mine out of storage, two problems, it smells like down, even though it was dry, i think? Second, there are NO holes, but there are feathers leaking out of it??? Any suggestions.

1) normal

2) normal

The feathers are coming out via you moving around the comforter and expanding the fabric in some places and not in others.

If you don't like the smell, wash it. (Mine is dry clean only though, so be careful of that)

Well, the smell, happenes everytime i wash it, then when it dries it goes away. I think it might just be a little wet from storage or soemthing. but the feather thing is normal, good, thanks.

Ok, I get what you were saying with the smell thing now.

Forgive me

Yeah, it smells like wet down even though you are pretty sure it was dry?

I'd give it the spin cycle and see what happens.

We have a down comforter and our bedroom looks like a damn chicken coop. It's fun to "make the feathers fly," if you catch my drift.
