What hands have you beat on the flop? There is no possible hand that beats you at this point.

[/ QUOTE ]

Obviously Im playing for a checkrise, not afraid of 22.

Awful.

How do you really expect to pull off a CR, when you were the last one to put in a raise on the turn.

[/ QUOTE ]

This is correct. I had (mis)remembered the hand as villian capping the flop, which obviously makes this play much better. When I noticed I was wrong, I idiotically posted it anyways. This is a MUCH more interesting play if Villian caps the flop; there you are almost certain to get a CR in on the turn if you want, but you do usually give up the possibility of a 3bet (although this particular toad capped the turn with AA heh). Sorry for posting a crappy hand, I'll think more next time before posting crap.

I check this turn 0% of the time. And god knows I try to get fancy too often.

Now, if I had position on the villian & he checked to me on the turn, I might check through once in a blue moon with the intention of raising a river bet. But never after all that preflop & flop action--he's holding an overpair most of the time and will at least call your turn bet.
