no dude - that was directed strictly at chuddo.

and the way this stuff usually works is that once the deadline for submission passes, they are then opened up so everyone can follow along.

not sure if that's how this software works, but that's how most of them do. and that is ideal.

Yes, exactly, that's what I didn't do... I turned hide on, but didn't set a deadline.

Right now the deadline is midnight saturday pacific time. I will probably make it longer than that as soon as I get a better date.

was just curious the rationale from keeping it hidden. it seems silly.

if there is indeed a good reason for it, and it it because there is MONEY at stake, then that is even more reason for opening it up.

because it was already public, that was known, and someone could have already viewed everything, and thus have more information than those it is closed to now.

then again i dont understand what advantage that would be in the first place, hence asking for the initial opening.

people can still change their picks, there were only 10 completed brackets and one of them was mine because I'm curious to see how I fare (obviously my entry will not be eligible for a prize).

Move that prediction up. There is no way this thing will start by then. I have a sidebet with Chaostricize on when we will actually start this, I took the over.

I will set it to whenever you or FoxwoodsFiend tells me to, just give me a number.

Your deadline is fine.

So I guess we're in for 100 each. My only question is what we're doing about Zeebo's replacement. It looks like it'll be evanski or jcmoussa, but are you guys just picking your brackets knowing that there's some uncertainty about who will take Zeebo's place?
