Borgata this week/weekend

My wife and I are considering hopping on the first NY to AC bus tomorrow andheading over to the Borg for the day and returning in the evening. I know there will be a bunch of 2+2ers there for the day or the weekend.

I suspect with the tourneys it will be fairly zooish. My question is for those of you already out there (or who are geting there later today and can report back). How crowded is the card room? I don't want to make the five hour round trip to get in 2-3 hours of poker because of long waits. While I can play a little higher to avoid waits my wife needs the $3/6 table.

Any thoughts are appreciated.

maybe your wife and mine can wait for a 3/6 seat together, i'm sure the lines for that will be incredible after noon

Someone here said you can call the Borgata poker room and get your name on the list in advance... even if you aren't staying in the hotel.

Is this true? And if so, what's the number because I can't find it on the website.

Seems like this would change lots of things...

Recently moved up to 10/20, why?

I hold a grudge against the Taj because a dealer yelled at me once. Plus the chips make me feel like I'm gonna get Malaria.

And the Borgata is just nicer to look at anyways.

I'm leaving in the morning as well, but have a much shorter drive.

hehe, the chips are pretty nasty, I thought you were the OP, thats why I asked. Why did the dealer yell at you, I think the 10/20 at the taj is pretty soft all of the time, I do like the Borgata, but I get more from the taj because Ive been playing there for a while. Weekends the 10/20 at the borg are the best, but during the week, try the taj
