An alternate is Harrah's at the Marina. Since the poker room has been remodeled its pretty nice, it is not as crowded and is usually a soft game. They also have SNG's but the rake is heavy.

I know that it's not as nice as the Borgata, but it has a special place in my heart since it was the first place I ever played live casino poker back a few years ago. heh it's not a very interesting story... basically I was spacing out and didn't push my bet in close enough to her. She asked me once to push them in, I didn't respond, then she yells at me to push them in and caps it off with a "God-dammit" and rolls her eyes. It wasn't a big deal, but dealer attitude is just a pet peeve of mine; they're supposed to be there to make it more fun, not worse. I know it's not an easy job, but it IS their job, and I'm really appreciative of the ones who do it well.

I'm neutral to the Taj. I just don't particularly care for donkposts like "Play at the Taj" where clearly the games will be very good at Borgata this weekend.

It wasnt a "donkpost"....the guy was asking how crowded it would be and I just said play at the taj or trop because it wont be nearly as crowded, I was at taj yesterday and it was very manageable whereas the borgata was a fun factory
