i'd be very tempted to 3-bet the turn, but that may be because i know he checked the river. i think you played this fine.

I will often 3 bet it, it looks like a free showdown more or a slowplayed monster, but since it's a blind steal I 3bet.

3 betting never entered my mind, no way should it. After the turn raise i was trying to think if i could fold anywhere, not on the turn since i'm 11:1 with implied, river fold would be 11:1 vs most likely straight then a distance 2nd of two pairs, so that seems like a no as well.

Had it not been raised preflop and i was getting roughly 7:1 on the turn seems to be a pretty good case for folding since it seems i'm always [censored] when anyone takes his actions.

After his river check i was unsure again if i should bet. Seemed like cocky straight vs cocky JQ. So i was going betfold. He checkcalled with TJo, i lost.

[/ QUOTE ]yeah... i would be too busy trying to decide whether to pay off a bet UI on river to take it to three bets like an effing lunatic.
BTW/ i woulde bet the river also, i bet this everytime, but im wondering alot lately if i should check more in these spots... do ppl really wait for the turn w/ QJ? i put him on QJ when i rwead the HH, but after seeing the results, JT seems seems to make more sense.... also he could be feigning weakness at the sight of the A w/ KQ/78 and going 4 the CR... i suppose u wouldnt have to pay that off, but id still like to save the bet ad get a SD. hmmm.

..."whiskey bar" ?

I like every street. I think the turn is the only question, to 3-bet or not...but his stats aren't too far out of line so I think a call down is fine.

3 betting the turn is suicide, especialy when u have 4 outs if your behind most of the time. j10 being the only exception. 10-9 is about the only hand you can beat that most 30-12's who limp under the gun have. Depending on how fancy he is, I could definitly see myself checking the river.
