if you were in an MTT, i dont know if they issued you a refund (i suspect they did on some pro rated basis), but for SNGs im guessing they refunded everyone.

i had no problem logging in thru the websites.

www.multipoker.com click My Account (enter name and pass), the click "Account Activity".

it's working fine for me still. not sure why it wouldnt be working for you. it was a slight laggish logging in, but not more than 10 seconds or so.

on top of that....typically their estimates are optimistic.

Example: If they have a shut-down at 5am and say they will re-start at 7am...they frequently don't ACTUALLY re-start until 8:30 or so.

I wonder why they would shut down on a saturday. I would imagine saturdays are one of thier most profitable days of the week.

that goes to my theory that this shut-down was probably something that they needed to do kind of suddenly (for whatever reason).
I'm sure it wasn't planned too far in advance.

This smells a lot like one of those blackmail DDos attack deals that the Russian mafia pulls off here and there. I hope it's something else though.
